Call for Special Issue Proposals

e_AOPL Journal of Social Sciences (ISSN: 2958-0625)

As the e_AOPL Journal of Social Sciences continues to grow as a platform for rigorous, inclusive, and transformative scholarship, we recognise the need to spotlight emerging themes and voices that challenge conventional boundaries. Special issues provide a special opportunity to gather focused conversations on important topics, connections between different fields and local viewpoints—particularly those that reflect the experiences of Africa and the global South.

In response to increasing interest from our contributors and readers, we are now inviting special issue proposals for our 2026 publication cycle. This initiative aims to foster collaborative editorial leadership, amplify underrepresented research communities, and deepen engagement with critical social science debates.

  • Proposed timeline and preferred publication month (June or December)

  • List of potential contributors or outreach strategy
